I attended the “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” walk late last month, right? And I kid you not, I saw a T-Shirt that said “SAVE SECOND BASE.”

This is a myth which has been debunked.

If your position had any validity to it whatsoever, you wouldn’t have to rely on lies.

My walking mates from work! Aaron walked with us, too, and so did one of the other girl’s boyfriends, but we made up the “official team” for our store.

One last good shot of the crowd! I would’ve made these a photo set, but unfortunately my phone’s app won’t let me. ):

This is probably my favourite picture. It was at the beginning of the walk, showing the pink “starting arch” of balloons.

This made me laugh so much. It was the little girl holding the sign that did it.

I loved this couple. It’s kind of rare to see men represented in breast cancer awareness as survivors.

Do you guys want to hear a funny story about how if they de-fund planned parenthood I won’t be able to afford birth control?

erinebola:

It’s really funny.

It goes like, I can’t afford 50 dollars a month on birth control, so I go to planned parenthood and pay closer to 20 dollars for 3 months worth, and don’t have children.

They also take care of most of my general healthcare needs because going to the doctor without health insurance is really expensive.

They base all their bills on my income so that I am able to afford everything.

Oh, yeah, they also make sure I do not have lady cancer and do pap smears for me, and assure me that I do not have breast cancer, which runs in my family.

So yeah, it’s a hilarious story about how the defunding of planned parenthood would pretty much ruin my life.

And my planned parenthood doesn’t even do any abortion related things.

Funny.
